Baby Turnip

You've heard the old saying, "Cute as a turnip", right? No? Well, today Baby W is the size of a turnip and I imagine that's ONE CUTE TURNIP. :)

I have so much going on right now (mostly in my mind) that I find it hard to focus on one blog. So, in a very Laura-ish-type-of-way, I'm going to post my random thoughts for today. Enjoy!

1. My baby is the size of a turnip and I don't like turnips.

2. Jason and I found a crib we love. We were getting ready to order it and then found out that it is not currently in stock (and they don't know when it will be back in stock). We loved it so much that we're finding it hard to like any others. I tried to post a picture of it but couldn't figure out how to put the picture exactly where I wanted and got a little annoyed. You can check it out if you want: http://www.jcpenney.com/ and type in "Sweet Pea Modern Crib". What do you think? Cute as a turnip, right? :)
3. I think, if it's possible, that Jason is starting to nest. He's been doing tasks around the house nightly and appears to have a specific list of things he wants to get done each night. If only I was so motivated!! Last night he swept the entire house (not to mention the past three days of caring for me while I've been sick). I'm certain he will be a great dad!!
4. Recent cravings: Ruffles with French Onion Dip (must be Ruffles and must be Dean's French Onion Dip), chicken sandwiches from Burger King, chocolate ice cream, watermelon, and cereal. Random, I know, but I thought it would be perfect for this blog.
5. I have REALLY been wanting to play a good game of Monopoly lately. Anyone in? Jason all but refuses to play Monopoly with me. Something about me getting mad when he wins. Whatever! He KNOWS he's supposed to let me win!! Sheesh.
6. We decided on baby names: William for a boy (we'd call him Will) and Charlie for a girl. Now, we're trying to decide if her name should be Charlotte and we'd call her Charlie or just name her Charlie. Any input? We really love the name Charlotte but would likely never use it (unless she's in trouble---but our children will be perfect angels so that won't be a real concern). :)
7. I love the rain and hope for more.
8. I'm really happy with my life, even though I continually stress about the same things. I'm glad God is in control even though I fight it WAY too often.
9. I absolutely, 100% LOVE the music by Two Seconds Away. Their song of the week this week is called A Thousand Bars and it's so beautifully artsy and thought-provoking. Check it out: http://www.newmusicmonday.com/
Even with all that's going on, that is my limit of things to write about as my lunch time is over. More later!!
